I am a master of Electrical Engineering. And I am interested in car technology, especially now a transition takes place from fossil fuel vehicles to battery electric cars and hydrogen fuel cell cars.

In the past I had a lot of discussions with all kinds of people about future drive trains. Often I had to explain a lot about electric cars. I also had to correct quite some misassumptions. Especially, because the current (German) car industry is publishing a lot of nonsense at moment, while promoting their fossil fuel cars.

These are exciting times for Research and Development in this area!

Therefore, I made a comparison of the three most important technologies for car power trains. It includes all kinds of aspects, including well-to-wheel efficiency. And best of all, it is easy to understand for everyone.

Because the interest was high, I published it on LinkedIn and on this website, for people wanting to know facts about these technologies, but explained in a simple way.
